A printed envelope from Liverpool to New York, endorsed 'pr Canada, Via Queenstown', prepaid at the 1s6d rate (1s postage plus 6d registration) by a 1s Green Pl.1 (SG90) , 4d pale red Pl.3 (SG80) and a 2d blue Pl.9 (SG45) all neatly tied by Liverpool '466' numerals and the large unframed 'R' handstamp. REGISTERED/Liverpool datestamp at left for NO.28.1863, and a 'N. York Br. Pkt/Paid 36' arrival cds for DE.14.1863.
Wing margin stamps top left, or bottom right letter will be the letters G or F.
