A cover from London to Naples, Italy prepaid at the 1s 6d rate via France (6d postage plus 6d registration + 6d French registration) by a horizontal pair of 9d bistre lettered IG-IH (SG86, trimmed wing margin at right), both neatly tied by London Western district numerals. Front also shows a red London 'Crown/REGISTERED' handstamp, a REGISTERED/London oval datestamp for FE.5.1862 and an oval 'PD' handstamp, Napoli receiving cds on reverse for the 10th.
